Salon58 – Refund & Service Policy (UK)
At Salon58, we aim to provide every client with high-quality hair and beauty services delivered with care, professionalism, and integrity. We understand that clients may occasionally have concerns, and this policy outlines how we address service issues and refund requests in a fair and transparent manner.
1. Services (Hair & Beauty)
Because our services involve time, expertise, and professional products, we do not offer cash refunds for completed services.
However, your satisfaction matters to us. If you are unhappy with the result:
1.1 Service Concerns
- You must notify the salon within 48 hours of your appointment.
- We will arrange a complimentary correction with the same stylist/therapist where appropriate.
- Corrections must be carried out within 7 days of your original appointment.
1.2 When Corrections May Not Be Offered
A complimentary correction may not be provided if:
- The client changes their mind after the service is completed.
- The client fails to follow aftercare advice.
- The outcome requested was not achievable based on hair/skin condition.
- The issue arises from work performed by another salon.
2. Gift Vouchers & Prepaid Packages
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Lost or expired vouchers cannot be replaced.
- Prepaid treatment courses or packages are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person with salon approval.
3. Products
We are only able to refund or replace retail products if:
- They are unused, unopened, and returned within 14 days with proof of purchase.
- The product is faulty (as defined by the Consumer Rights Act 2015).
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened products unless they are proven to be defective.
4. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
To respect the time of our team and other clients:
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before your appointment.
- Late cancellations may incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- No-shows will be charged 100% of the appointment value and may be required to pay a deposit for future bookings.
5. Deposits
Some appointments (e.g., colour services, long beauty treatments) may require a non-refundable deposit.
Deposits are only transferable with 24 hours’ notice.
6. Allergies & Patch Tests
Clients must follow our policy regarding patch tests for colour, tinting, or chemical treatments.
We reserve the right to refuse service if patch tests are declined.
7. Right to Refuse Service
Salon58 may refuse or discontinue service in cases of:
Abusive or inappropriate behaviour
Unsafe client conditions
Repeated no-shows or non-compliance with policies
8. Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your rights under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
